During Your Stay

Payment Arrangements: Patient Companions/ Watchers: Only 1 adult companion is allowed per patient. Two (2) companions may be allowed for small pediatric, elderly, and disabled patients.

Patient Watcher ID Card: As a security measure, an ID will be given to your watcher upon admission. This ID must be worn within the hospital premises at all times. If the companion ID is lost, a replacement fee will be charged to you.

Guest Rooms: For patients admitted in the Intensive Care Unit, their companion may choose to stay in a private room at a regular rate provided that a room is available and his/her stay must be registered with the Admitting Section. Otherwise, companions are advised to stay in the waiting area during visiting hours.

Visit by In-House Collection Officers: You will be visited regularly by our in-house collection officers to update you of your running hospital bill and answer any questions or concerns you might have regarding charges and payment.

Inpatient Meals:

Meal Schedule: The schedule of meal deliveries to your room may be seen in Table 1 below. If you are admitted past cut-off time, you will be served the next meal according to this schedule.

Reheating of Food: A microwave is available at the Nurses’ Station. Please inform our hospital staff if you would like for us to reheat your meal.

6. Medical Arts Building (MAB) Cafeteria: This cafeteria, located in the 2/F MAB, serves as an additional option for food selection for patient companions and is open from 7:00 AM-4:00 PM daily except Sundays. Patients are strongly advised to eat the meals prescribed by your doctor and served by our dietary staff.
